i am a vegan. have been fully vegan for over two months. i was vegan for about five months last year, but i didn't keep track of my nutrients or vitamins and got sick. but now i have a pretty good balance going on and i make sure to take my supplements. anyways, why? why am i vegan? i get asked that a lot. well, that's not exactly a simple answer, but here, let's use these two terms: ethical and dietary. those are two types of vegans. and, well, i am vegan for both reasons. i have no issues supporting local farmers who don't steal baby cows from their moms, or local farmers who treat their chickens like they are actually alive (so, very well), but factory farms are absolutely horrifying. i adore animals, they are a huge part of my life, and it had gotten to the point where eating factory farmed meat, eggs, or milk was very emotionally hard for me, and for good reason, so i stopped eating factory farmed animal products. i also went vegan for health reasons. ...
